Working Families
The Working Families Party contacted us to help build a better website. We transformed their online brochure into an action-oriented site, with a focus on current news and their audience’s participation.
The party has a tremendous impact on NY politics. In this state, many candidates are listed on the ballot under more than one party. Their votes add up the same regardless, but voting for a candidate as Working Families instead of Democrat helps break the tug of war common in two party politics. Fusion voting, as it’s called, enables voters to more clearly express their values.
The website helped expand their success: Working Families drew about 160,000 votes for Obama, 20% more than they pulled in for Kerry four years earlier.
