A sticker for car doors. As a response or for prevention, they’d be effective stuck inside a door or out, for distracted cab passengers drunk and sober, English speaking or not.
We’re currently out of stickers. You can donate for the next round of printing via paypal (without an account) or send an email for other options. Thanks!
A card for cyclists to educate drivers who dangerously disrupt our ride. At the light or in the bike lane, skip the argument and get on your way.
The laws mentioned on the card (pdf 200k) come mostly from summaries listed on nyc.gov and ny’s dept of transportation. More details elsewhere for bike messengers.
In other news: If you get hurt, go to the emergency room. The driver’s insurance will pay no matter who’s at fault. If it’s a hit and run, the city’s no fault insurance will cover it. This includes medical bills, lost time at work, etc.
Also in other news: If you get a ticket for not having a light or bell, you have 24 hours to bring it to the officer’s precinct, and the ticket will be forgotten. Be persistent.
