The websites we design come with several nitty-gritty perks:

• We separate style and content. If you’d like to change the aesthetics of your website later, you can redesign it without touching a single page of text, making it quicker and more cost effective.
• We hand-code our sites which makes them much leaner than using a program like golive or dreamweaver. As a result, they load more quickly, and keep your bandwidth down.
• Our websites are standards compliant and completely accessible. In other words, we know the rules and we don’t take short cuts. As a result, our sites work with tools for handicap accessibility. They are optimized for search engines and friendly to people who turn off images or javascript or who use an ancient computer with netscape. • We’ll set you up with Google Analytics. For nerds and Luddites alike, the tool gives amazing insight into who uses your site, and how. You can answer questions like: Where are our visitors coming from? What search engine words bring them to our site? What pages do they look at while they visit? When they’re looking at our homepage, how often do they choose one menu link over another?
• We value open source tools, working with developers such as CiviCRM. We utilize the latest web technologies and techniques, such as social bookmarking and RSS feeds, and believe in sharing the wealth openly.
• We help you choose software that is free and well supported (such as Drupal or Joomla), and when possible, fully accessible and standards compliant (such as Textpattern).
• And perhaps most importantly, we strategize, design, write, and code, guiding clients through every stage of the process from conception to launch.

Once we set up a website and hand it back to you, you are free to do whatever you want with it. As a result, we don’t link to sites in our portfolio. We’ll gladly send you links if you request ‘em.
